About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team. As a Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Foster Carers to provide therapeutic support and guidance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic support and guidance to Foster Carers
  • Work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support Foster Carers
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve desired outcomes

Requirements:

  • Post qualifying experience 2 years+
  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Experience of working with Looked After Children and families (desirable)
  • Experience of working with children and young people (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of trauma informed and attachment based approaches
  • Experience of undertaking and formulating assessments
  • Registered with UKCP, BACP, ACP or HCPC
  • Access to vehicle for work purposes

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
