As a Volunteer Car Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting patients to and from their medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Collect patients from their homes, ensuring they have all necessary items and their home is secure.
  2. Assist patients safely into your vehicle and transport them to their medical appointments.
  3. Ensure your vehicle is clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times.
  4. Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and dignity at all times.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
  • Valid vehicle with at least four seats, four doors, and seat belts fitted in the front and rear.
  • Own vehicle maintenance and insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
