Group Financial Reporting Director

Global Accounting Network is partnering with a high-growth, publicly traded data and analytics business. This company operates with the speed and agility of a private equity-backed firm, regularly acquiring businesses globally.

We are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to take a leading role within our function. This is a broad role with significant projects to lead from day one.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant, through an audit scheme
  • Significant post-qualification experience in industry, in a group function
  • Experience leading on audits under IFRS (US GAAP is an added bonus)
  • Experience improving processes, with a strong knowledge of what good looks like for a publicly traded, group function
  • Experience managing at least one direct report, with a passion for developing and coaching people in their career

Main responsibilities:

  • Management and development of 3 direct reports
  • Take a leading role on coordinating the audit process with both the team and the external auditors
  • Drive any technical projects such as acquisitions or changes to standards
  • Internal controls/improvement of processes
