Job Description

**Job Title:** Financial Analysis and Reporting Director

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analysis and Reporting Director to join our team at Vitae Financial Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the year-end group audit process and preparing the annual statutory financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate the year-end group audit process and prepare the annual statutory financial statements.
  2. Lead and provide support for group month-end reporting.
  3. Review monthly consolidated management accounts and board pack, including detailed P&L review, comparison to budget analysis, and challenge of the balance sheet.
  4. Identify risks and opportunities.
  5. Stay up-to-date with UK accounting and taxation legislation.
  6. Be involved with treasury and cashflow reporting.
  7. Build meaningful relationships with all key stakeholders.
  8. Identify opportunities for continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  1. ACA/ACCA Qualified.
  2. Audit trained and experience of managing large, complex group audits.
  3. Can be straight from practice or with some additional industry experience.
  4. An excellent communicator, capable of building strong professional relationships.
  5. Clear organisational, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ambitious, self-starter, keen to continually improve and positively impact a business.
