Job Title: Director, Financial Reporting and Control

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Financial Reporting and Control to join our Finance team at Checkout Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our financial reporting and control processes, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Develop and implement financial reporting and control processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness
  • Manage a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial reporting and control objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Senior Director of Finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial reporting and control processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any audit findings or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial reporting and control regulations, ensuring compliance and implementing best practices

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with a strong background in financial reporting and control
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company
  • Proven track record of leading financial reporting and control teams, with a strong focus on process improvement and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial reporting and control processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address financial reporting and control issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
