Job Title: Financial Reporting Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Director to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our External Reporting team, you will be responsible for leading the production of our external quarterly results releases and the Annual Report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of discrete processes and disclosures associated with group financial publications.
- Liaise with external auditors on their audit of our consolidated group financial statements and internal controls.
- Contribute to quarterly Audit Committee and Board papers on financial performance and reporting matters.
- Lead on production of ancillary financial reports and pro forma publications.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- External reporting experience including annual reports and financial statements within a listed company or audit firm.
- Process improvement and transformation experience.
- Experience producing or reviewing IFRS financial statements.
- Experience of audit planning and procedures.
- Experience of SAP consolidation and financial reporting systems – preferred.
