Job Description

As a Mental Health and Well-being Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs in developing emotional resilience and coping strategies. You will work closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualized support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them build emotional resilience and develop essential life skills.
  • Assist students in managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special educational staff to develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring students receive the necessary support to thrive academically and personally.
  • Encourage positive behavior, self-confidence, and independence among students, fostering a growth mindset and a love for learning.
  • Support students in managing their mental health needs, providing a safe and supportive space when required.

Salary: £86-97 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
