About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Well-being Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in promoting the mental and emotional well-being of students with SEN and SEMH needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students, helping them build emotional resilience and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement tailored support plans that cater to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them develop emotional resilience and coping strategies.
  • Assist students in managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special educational staff to develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring students receive the necessary support to thrive academically and personally.
  • Encourage positive behavior, self-confidence, and independence among students, fostering a growth mindset and a love for learning.
  • Support students in managing their mental health needs, providing a safe and supportive space when required.

Salary: £85-96 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
