Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. As a Healthcare Administrator - Patient Advocacy, you will be working in the PALS team to provide advice and support to patients, carers, and stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining systems to enable the acknowledgement and management of complaints. They will also work closely with the Resolution and Complaints Manager to log formal complaints and meet the Trust's required standards and timeframes.

You will have the opportunity to work with various IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and others. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to patients, carers, and stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain systems to enable the acknowledgement and management of complaints
  • Work closely with the Resolution and Complaints Manager to log formal complaints
  • Compile documents to support complaint investigations and draft letters from investigators' findings
  • Provide general project and administration support for the Patient Experience Team
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ level 4 or equivalent Diploma in administration or IT subject
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, sensitive and accurate listening and note-taking
  • Able to communicate effectively through IT using packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel
