About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a School Nurse, specializing in care for children with complex needs. The successful candidate will have experience in assessing and developing patient care plans, delivering high-quality care and clinical interventions, and teaching and training junior staff and students.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse who can work collaboratively with children, families, school staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure a supportive and caring learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality and safety, ensuring compliance with the NMC code and prioritizing people's well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with children, families, school staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure a supportive and caring learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of service improvement that promotes quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with the NMC code which requires all registered nurses to prioritize people.

Salary

The salary for this position is £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, based on full-time hours.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • BSc Nursing or RN in Child or Learning Disability Nursing and currently registered with NMC.
  • Post-registration specialist training relevant to the specialty.

You must also have experience in assessing and developing patient care plans, delivering high-quality care and clinical interventions, and teaching and training junior staff and students.
