This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who is skilled in the field of Fire Risk Assessment. Paradigm Housing's top priority is the safety of our customers and colleagues, and the role will involve working directly with our customers to provide solutions for fire safety issues, such as Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessments and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans.
Key Responsibilities- Support our business in the completion of Compliant Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments to a predetermined programme.
- Provide advice to colleagues on fire-related matters.
- Review documentation provided by other organizations relating to the fire safety of our residents.
- Visit sites across the full area in which Paradigm Housing operates and write up reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Able to demonstrate how you have worked to deadlines while engaging customers and colleagues.
- Experience communicating with local fire and rescue organizations to develop positive working relationships.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for fire safety and a passion for excellent service.
- Experience/knowledge of fire risk assessment in a Housing environment is essential.
- Competent Fire Risk Assessor and prepared to continue learning in a developing field.
- A generous package including 25 days' holiday to start (rising to 30 days with service), plus 3 paid days between Christmas and New Year.
