About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our team in Surrey. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering specialist social work services to individuals who are Deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, Deafblind, and their families and carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a person-centred service that supports individuals to achieve their outcomes
  • Assess needs, identify outcomes, and plan support to meet these needs
  • Provide supervision and line management to a small team of Social Workers and Social Care Assistants
  • Develop and maintain communication, safety, and independence for individuals with deafness
  • Explain charging policies and calculate contributions or payments
  • Provide information, advice, and support related to deafness and its impact on life
  • Coordinate, review, and allocate referrals across the support team
  • Promote safeguarding policies and procedures to prevent, detect, and respond to concerns
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation, including data collection
