Job Description:

The role of Electronics Engineer involves providing technical support during the development and delivery of digital &/or analogue designs. The successful candidate will work in a team environment to develop Test Equipment solutions that support complex product requirements at BAE Systems' Electronic Technology platforms in Rochester, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General assembly work
  • Working with aircraft interface systems (electrical, optics, mechanical)
  • Fault finding at general assembly level
  • Fault isolation
  • Hardware/software integration
  • Repair existing hardware/software

Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) UK Security Clearance and possess J-STD and/or IPC 610/620 certificates. A basic understanding of digital &/or analogue electronics technologies, design tools and techniques, electronic circuits design, cable design and manufacture, commissioning and integration is essential. Practical electronics skills, problem solving skills, and team working are also required.

About the Role:

This Electronics Engineer position offers an estimated salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Located in Rochester, Kent, the successful candidate will be part of a skilled workforce delivering military capability, protecting national security and people, and keeping critical information and infrastructure secure.
