The estimated salary for this Electronics Test Technician role is in the range of £30-35k per annum, with potential to earn up to £40-45K + shift allowance OTE. This competitive compensation package reflects the importance of your technical expertise in electronics testing and fault-finding.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth testing and fault-finding of analogue and digital electronic products to component level.
  • Diagnose issues within electronic systems by examining individual components using circuit diagrams.
  • Utilize a range of tools and equipment to conduct tests, ensuring compliance with test specifications and following established processes.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify failures and use appropriate tools to test equipment.
  • Carry out wiring, soldering, quality inspection, and associated digital documentation as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this Electronics Test Technician role, you will need:

  • A relevant background in Electronics Manufacturing.
  • The ability to fault-find to component level.
  • Experience using various testing techniques and equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a practical mindset with a good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
  • SOME experience with wiring and soldering.
  • Quality inspection experience.
  • A good work ethic and flexibility to work various shift patterns.
  • Great communication skills.
  • The right to work in the UK permanently with no restrictions.
