Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Ambitious about Autism. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students with autism.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide individualized support to students in the classroom. You will help students with their learning, provide emotional support, and assist with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to students in the classroom
- Assist students with their learning, including reading, writing, and math
- Provide emotional support to students, including helping with anxiety and stress
- Assist with daily routines, including breakfast, lunch, and snack times
- Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for working with students with autism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be physically and emotionally resilient, as working with students with autism can be challenging at times.
