About the Role:

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a year 11 student in a well-established and prestigious all-boys secondary school in Hounslow.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young people with ADHD and Autism. This role will involve working closely with the student to provide academic and emotional support, as well as assisting with behavior management and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a year 11 student with ADHD and Autism
  • Assist with behavior management and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Support the student with their academic work and provide additional support as needed
  • Work closely with the student's teachers and other school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive approach

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a degree in any subject area, experience working with children or young adults, and B or above in subjects at A level. They will also possess behavior management skills, a professional manner, and enthusiasm for working with students with additional needs.
