We are seeking a Director of System Transformation to drive reform and support organisational change, ensuring alignment across the system.

Main Duties:

  • Develop Strategies: Develop effective strategies and operational policies working closely with colleagues across the sector.
  • Drive Reform: Drive reform and support organisational change and uptake of initiatives that support excellence.
  • Communicate Vision: Develop and communicate the vision for the role of innovation, and the development of strategy and operational policies to support this vision.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Engage with key strategic regional and national policy makers to inform development of strategy and policies.
  • Benchmark Best Practices: Identify examples of national and international best practice and ensure that NHS England benefits from relevant innovations in healthcare.
  • Support Development: Support development by developing the innovation infrastructure and capacity in organisations.
  • Initiate New Projects: Develop and champion new initiatives or projects as necessary.

Location: Victoria House, NHSE East Wing, Capital Park, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB21 5XB or any other NHS England East of England Office.

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

About You:

We are looking for someone with a Master's degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a background in senior management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with Acute Hospital Providers and ICBs, delivering improvement in national constitutional and planning standards, and successfully delivering complex change programmes.
