Administrative Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Lead to join our team at the Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative processes, ensuring efficient and effective administrative support, and providing day-to-day operational management and coordination of the Administration services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Line manage all Admin and Clerical staff within the Service areas.
* Ensure that full secretarial support is provided to the service staff, including cover for reception when necessary.
* Provide day-to-day lead operational management and coordination of the Administration services.
* Identify areas for improvement and implement changes in the administration process.
* Chair regular Administration Team Meetings.
* Assist in the selection, recruitment and retention of Admin and Clerical staff.
Requirements:
* Good level of education GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
* NVQ LEVEL 3 or equivalent
* Evidence of Continual Professional Development
* Degree Education
* Appropriate level of NHS experience
* Relevant administrative experience
* Specialist knowledge of NHS IT systems
* Training skills and experience
* Analytical and problem solving ability
* Experience of relevant NHS Databases systems
* Experience of recruitment and retention
