Head of Engineering NPD Mechanical

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation to find a Head of Engineering NPD Mechanical. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineering professional to lead a small but growing R&D team and drive new product development.
About the Role- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering design team comprising mechanical engineers with electronics, software, and mechatronics expertise.
- Develop and implement strategies for successful new product development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and ensure technical excellence.
- Manage the team's daily activities, including recruitment, training, and mentoring.
- Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.
- Have experience in delivering NPD projects, with expertise in planning, controlling, and delivering projects.
- Be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An excellent salary of up to £75,000, plus a yearly profit share bonus.
