About the Role
The Head of Engineering will be responsible for leading a small but growing R&D team, comprising five staff, in the development of new products and achieving project deadlines. The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline, ideally Mechanical, and a proven track record of delivering NPD projects. Experience in planning, controlling, and delivering NPD projects, as well as leading a multidiscipline engineering design team, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the R&D team in the development of new products and achieving project deadlines.
- Have technical oversight and leadership, getting involved with the design elements of the products, and overall project management of the new and existing product development projects.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure they are driven and focused at all times.
About You
The successful Head of Engineering will be passionate about Product Development and Design, with a proven track record of delivering NPD projects. They will have a degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline, ideally Mechanical, and experience in leading a multidiscipline engineering design team. Our client is offering an excellent salary of up to £75,000, plus a yearly profit share bonus, pension, and flexible working.
