MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation to find a highly skilled Head of Engineering (NPD | Mechanical) to lead their Engineering and NPD teams.
The successful candidate will have full accountability for Engineering and NPD, with a focus on getting new products to market and achieving project deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and drive the company's product development forward.
About the Role:
- Lead a multidiscipline engineering design team, comprising mechanical engineers with electronics/software/mechatronics expertise.
- Deliver NPD projects, leveraging expertise in planning, controlling, and executing projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve product development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
- Proven track record of delivering NPD projects in a technical engineering sector.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing project timelines.
- Strong technical expertise and leadership skills.
