SRG is partnering with a global organisation to find an Analyst to join their lab team. We are looking for someone with a background in mineralogy and experience with testing soil and/or asbestos. The role involves carrying out analysis of soil and mineral samples using techniques like gravimetric analysis, FTIR, and XRD.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out analysis of soil and mineral samples
  • Asbestos testing with training provided
  • Reporting analytical results and cross-checking as required
  • Completing routine laboratory support functions

Requirements:

  • Relevant scientific degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar field
  • Experience of testing such as FTIR, XRD, gravimetric analysis, and asbestos testing
  • Background in mineralogy
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience of working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of a range of ICT including Microsoft Office and databases

Salary: £40,000 per annum.
