We are seeking a skilled and compassionate adult nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a complex care nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a female client with an acquired brain injury, providing bespoke care and support to enable her to stabilize at home and achieve personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
As a complex care nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our client, including:
- Providing ventilation via mask
- Care and use of gastrostomy
- Deep suctioning
- Chest physio/Percussion/Vibration
- Mechanical cough assist
- Bowel management
Requirements
We are looking for a female adult nurse with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the last 2 years, who is passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. Recent experience in the following key skills is required:
- Ventilation via mask
- Care and use of gastrostomy
- Deep suctioning
- Chest physio/Percussion/Vibration
- Mechanical cough assist
- Bowel management
