Job Opportunity

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a skilled female adult nurse to deliver bespoke care and support to a young person in their local community. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of UK-based complex care experience and be able to drive.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to enable the individual to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals. This will include:

  • Delivering complex care and support to meet the individual's needs
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in regular clinical updates and reviews to ensure the individual's needs are met

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to have:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in the last 2 years in complex care
  • Recent experience in ventilation via mask, care and use of gastrostomy, deep suctioning, chest physio/Percussion/Vibration, mechanical cough assist, and bowel management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
