Job Title: Female Adult Complex Care Nurse - Community Based

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Adult Complex Care Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we deliver bespoke care and support to young people enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into their local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to young adults with complex needs in a community-based setting.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Provide expert care and management of ventilation, gastrostomy, deep suctioning, chest physio, mechanical cough assist, and bowel management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new care initiatives and services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in the last 2 years in complex care nursing.
  • Recent experience in ventilation via mask, care and use of gastrostomy, deep suctioning, chest physio, mechanical cough assist, and bowel management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
