Senior Sales Executive for Consumer Goods

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Independent Account Manager to join our team at MacGregor Black, a leading partner of a Global Market Leading Consumer Goods brand.
This permanent role is based in Stoke-On-Trent and offers a competitive salary plus benefits package.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years minimum proven successful experience working within the independent's sales space, with direct P&L responsibility and a strong ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
As an Independent Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining long-term key customers by understanding their requirements and identifying needs and opportunities to promote our company's solutions.
- Create and implement account plans to drive growth against agreed strategic objectives.
- Develop effective relationships between the organization and the customer to ensure comprehensive contact matrixes at all levels.
- Maximize activity in-store to achieve maximum shelf exposure from key selling areas.
You will also be responsible for producing accurate and timely forecasts, managing collaborative forecasts with internal stakeholders, and presenting relevant insights at sales and marketing meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the consumer goods space.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build strong relationships with key customers.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
In return for your expertise and enthusiasm, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous holiday allowance.
