Estate Compliance Specialist

With Paradigm Housing Group, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our estates meet the highest standards. As an Estate Compliance Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining compliance and resolving issues across our operating area.

This position is based between our High Wycombe and Chesham Office and involves regular site visits to properties. You'll work closely with multiple departments, contractors, and managing agents to identify and address areas of concern.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cyclical inspections of communal areas and amenity land to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements
  • Contract monitoring and investigation into customer and colleague-raised issues
  • Collaboration with neighbourhood teams to address areas of concern, such as anti-social behaviour

You'll also be responsible for specific tasks like testing safety equipment, inspecting fire doors, and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Knowledge of building compliance and fire safety or a willingness to develop this expertise
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a collaborative working style
  • Understanding of relevant legislation for the estate services sector
  • Minor building repair skills (DIY level) and basic physical fitness
  • A valid manual driving licence for a mobile role

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
