About the Role

As a Specialist SEN Tutor at Career Teachers, you will be working with children and young people who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your role will be to support their learning, help them develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality education to students with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to support student progress
  • Work collaboratively with in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals to provide comprehensive support
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and mental well-being
Requirements
  • Previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • An outstanding practitioner with expertise in SEN/SEMH education
  • Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and needs
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
