We are seeking a Support Learner Success Specialist to join our team at the Learning Curve Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our learners.

About the Role

The Support Learner Success Specialist will work closely with our learners who require additional support to access their learning experiences. You will provide tailored support to ensure that our learners achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

You will be responsible for providing positive reinforcements, praise, and emotional support to our learners. Additionally, you will advise and support tutors with making necessary adjustments for learners with learning support needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide structured support using a range of effective interventions within a class and/or outdoor setting
  • Aid access to the full range of learning experiences and provide modified materials as required
  • Provide positive reinforcements, praise, and emotional support to learners
  • Advise and support tutors with making necessary adjustments for learners with learning support needs
  • Ensure Learning Support Plans and contact logs are updated accurately and timely
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with Post 16 learners
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Post 16 learners with EHCPs
  • Previously received training in aspects of SEN, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, SEMH etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural, and physical needs of learners
  • Calm and patient attitude
