About the Role:

As an SEN Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to children with special educational needs across various school settings. Your primary focus will be on offering tailored 1:1 assistance, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive personalized attention and care.
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of each student.
  • Monitor and record student progress, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for further support.
  • Engage in various classroom activities and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.
