Education Assistant

The role of a Children's Learning Disability Education Assistant involves providing individualized support to students with learning disabilities. As a member of our team, you will assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, transport students safely between the residential service and school, and support students with daily living skills and personal care. Key responsibilities include providing education support duties, responding to pupils' needs, and ensuring students feel safe and supported in the classroom. To be successful in this role, you will need a desire to create positive outcomes for students, an empathetic and caring nature, and the right to work in the UK. You must also have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service. In return, we offer excellent pay rates, variety in work settings, and support from our specialist consultant. The role offers a permanent position with immediate starts available, working 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, at approximately £19,600 per year.
