Primary School Teaching Assistant with a Passion for Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate General Teaching Assistant to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd.

Salary Range: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide academic support to Year 3 students in a primary school setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering targeted help to students who require additional guidance, promoting positive behavior, and creating a welcoming classroom atmosphere that supports the school's policies and encourages good habits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in need of additional academic assistance.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters active participation and engagement from all students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant qualification or experience in a primary school setting is essential.
  2. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks are required.
