Are you a motivated University of Cumbria student looking to gain experience in education? Our teaching team in Lancaster is seeking a part-time teaching assistant to support the academic success of primary and secondary school students. As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers, develop your communication skills, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students during lessons, promoting academic achievement and social development
• Work collaboratively with teachers to design and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Help students with assignments and classroom materials, enhancing their understanding and skills
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students to thrive academically and personally
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as a University of Cumbria student in Lancaster
• Demonstrated passion for education and commitment to working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other educational professionals
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
