SEN Tutor Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified SEN tutor to provide 1:1 support to children and young people outside of mainstream schools.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess teaching skills and experience working with children with challenging behaviour, looking for flexible work.

  • Face-to-face tuition at the child's home or a local area (e.g., a library).
  • Planning resources around the child's needs to develop their knowledge in Maths and English or educational learning through play.
  • Maintaining engagement with tasks and ensuring access to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply teaching techniques to get pupils back on track.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure desired outcomes.
