Position Overview
As a key player in the finance department, the Credit Controller will be responsible for overseeing the credit control operations within a dynamic logistics organization. This role requires proficiency in managing accounts across various currencies, ensuring smooth financial transactions and maintaining healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and pursue overdue invoices across diverse currencies and geographical locations.
  • Coordinate the receipt of goods to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Post and allocate customer payments using Sage Intacct, managing multiple currencies effectively.
  • Handle receipts, invoices, and credit notes with precision.
  • Address credit applications and resolve any related inquiries.
  • Assist customers with queries, requests for statements, and reconciliations.
  • Issue and allocate customer credit notes as necessary.
  • Manage daily cash flow and exchange rate fluctuations.
  • Support the purchase ledger and invoice discounting processes.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Credit Controller position, particularly with multi-currency transactions.
  • Familiarity with Sage software is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
  • 20 days of annual leave, increasing to 25 days with tenure.
