Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join their consistently growing team. The Quality Control Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to ISO 9001 protocols.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will be responsible for upholding and managing the ISO 9001 quality management system. This includes ensuring compliance with ISO standards, overseeing documentation, and facilitating regular audits to guarantee ongoing adherence to protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of both incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet specified quality standards. Identify any defects, deviations, or non-conformities ensuring they are reported to the managers on site and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and any deviations from standards
- Proactively identify areas for quality improvement within the manufacturing process. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality.
- Utilise your familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality control principles to conduct internal audits. Identify areas of improvement, assess conformity to standards, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and protocols.
- Experience in conducting internal audits and familiarity with auditing practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify even subtle defects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An analytical mind-set with problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant quality control tools and software.
**Salary: £32,000 to £35,000**, dependent on previous experience.
**Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm**, working 40 hours per week.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
