Our client, a reputable family-owned residential developer and main contractor, is seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the North Wales and North West regions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing project costs, procurement, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the procurement process, including tendering and contract administration, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Handle various contract forms, such as JCT D&B and NEC, to guarantee seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to manage relationships, payments, and disputes, ensuring a smooth project workflow.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to costs, contracts, and procurement, providing a secure project environment.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost control, and project management.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
