Mental Health Crisis Resolution Team Member

This role involves providing intensive support at home for adults experiencing a mental health crisis in Powys. The service offers an alternative to hospital admission, providing 7-day-a-week support, 365 days a year.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a crisis resolution home treatment service for adults with mental health needs.
  2. Collaborate with service users, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and risk evaluations to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working in community mental health services.
  • Excellent assessment, risk assessment, planning, and evaluation skills.
  • A good understanding of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
Working Conditions:

This is a shift work role, working 9-9, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Ability to travel within a geographical area and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
