About the Role
Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join their Adult Psychology and Psychological Therapy Service. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to service improvement initiatives, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and provide leadership on psychological knowledge and approaches.

Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Adult Psychology Leadership Team, you will support the Lead Consultant Psychologist in managing and overseeing the day-to-day provision of psychological services. You will also provide line management supervision and/or clinical supervision to qualified psychologists, CAAPs, Assistant Psychologists, and trainee clinical psychologists on placement.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist, and training in clinical supervision. They will also have significant experience of working as a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist in a mental health setting, with advanced levels of clinical expertise in at least one area of clinical practice within the adult mental health field.
