Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced receptionist to join our team at Weeping Cross Health Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients and visitors, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Manage patient flow and ensure that patients are seen by the relevant healthcare professional in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating any issues to the relevant team member or manager as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
