We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our special care unit at HMP Stafford, a category C men's prison based in Staffordshire. The 8-bed specialist care unit supports both reablement and palliative care patients. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including delivering supervision to a Physiotherapist Assistant. Your responsibilities will include supporting patients within the unit, as well as outreach, assessments, and follow-up plans for patients across the prisons in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in the special care unit
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Supervise a Physiotherapist Assistant to ensure effective patient care
  • Conduct outreach, assessments, and follow-up plans for patients across the prisons in the West Midlands region
