About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join our team in a prison environment. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based care, listening and acting on patient feedback to personalise care and focus on both planned and unplanned care.
- Deliver non-judgmental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries while playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's care.
- Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being proactive in the management of MSK conditions and motivating the wider team to identify patients presenting with red flag symptoms.
- Forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcare team and the wider prison service.
About You
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is willing to learn and develop. You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive package of pay and benefits, and we recognise the value of a healthy work-life balance so we always try to be flexible, helping you fit your working life around your home life.
