Budget Coordinator Job Summary

The role of Budget Coordinator involves supporting the development and implementation of financial plans and strategies for our clients in Newcastle. A skilled professional with a solid background in accounting and budgeting is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive financial plans and forecasts.
  • Compile and review balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee adherence to Group policies.
  • Offer expert financial guidance and support to the operational site, focusing on improving their financial performance metrics.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and address issues promptly.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting activities.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Expertise and Education:

  • Proven knowledge of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation preparation.
  • Ongoing studies towards a recognized accounting certification, such as ACCA or CIMA, or current certification.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
