R&D Project Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented R&D Project Coordinator to join our team at TechnipFMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all systems and documentation are maintained in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all systems and documentation are maintained in line with company standards
- Support the maintenance & updating of standard technical documentation including document templates, in line with company standards
- Conversion of documentation to new standards where required i.e., template update, project specific to generic
- General admin duties to facilitate visitors and contractors attending site (Inductions, RAMS, scheduling coordination)
- Obtain price, lead time and expedite procurement items to meet requirement date
- Create purchase requisitions for all R&D projects and testing campaigns
- Track Purchase orders and expenditure against project budgets and OPEX budgets.
- Raising work requests for other departments to support the R&D department
- Update and issue status reports, KPI's, stock, milestones, operation plans etc. as agreed to meet customer requirements
- Any other project related tasks deemed necessary to meet project objectives
- Monitor departmental improvement plans and update progress and adherence
- Assist in preparing yearly budget application for the R&D team
- Assist in monitoring and forecasting R&D expenditure and engineering hours throughout the year
• Tracking of Test Services & R&D Capex expenditure, forecast and year to date - Monitoring and updating of Test Services equipment maintenance schedule
- To assist Test Services department in the organisation of equipment calibration
- Coordinate logistics of test samples and equipment to ensure all transport requirements are met
- Assist with movement of goods around base if necessary
Requirements:
- HND/HNC and/or relevant project experience gained within the Oil and Gas/similar industry.
- Experienced in using MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Basic ability to read engineering drawings and parts lists (can be taught on the job)
- Project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera
