We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Network Manager to lead and oversee a recently awarded EPSRC-funded project in Automatic Control Engineering. This role serves as a central hub for coordinating collaborative research endeavours, orchestrating events, and ensuring the seamless functioning of our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately plan, execute, and administer all aspects of the network, including budget control, events management, and comprehensive communication strategy.
  • Coordinate with fellow Network Managers, engage with and report to UKRI-EPSRC, and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Connect researchers and orchestrate engagement with key strategic stakeholders, including policy makers, industry, institutions, and the wider community.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing complex projects to successful completion.
  • Analytical skills to manage and project budgets, manage and control risk, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to the project team.
  • Substantial experience of partnership working and managing potentially conflicting priorities and different types of people.
