The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Manager to join our team at The Oren in Hampstead Heath. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of all units and communal areas. This is a brand new team, and you will have the opportunity to make your impact on how we do things in the Oren.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee planned and reactive interior and exterior maintenance, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  2. Coordinate community events and manage daily/weekly tasks related to bins and bin yards.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, implementing strategies for customer satisfaction.
  4. Communicate with department heads on preventative maintenance and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Maintain up-to-date records for mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects of the building.
  6. Oversee 3rd party contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to policies and reporting any issues immediately.
  7. Conduct stock home inspections, assist with pre-move-in snagging checks, and contribute to weekly defect calls.
  8. Manage tools and workshop responsibly.
  9. Complete work orders within SLAs, inform new residents of available services, and maintain a professional attitude toward residents.

Requirements

  1. 3 years' experience in maintenance, M&E, or fabric engineering.
  2. To be a fully qualified electrician with experience in HVAC, BMS, fire security, waste management, health and safety, and PPM.
  3. Confident driver with a full clean UK driver's license.
  4. Line management experience preferred but not essential.
  5. Flexibility to work 7 days a week, 24 hours, with shift patterns subject to change according to business requirements.
