About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused House Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our retirement living development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming new residents and providing a warm and friendly welcome
  • Providing a professional front-of-house service and dealing with visitors in a courteous manner
  • Being the first point of contact for residents and offering support and advice as needed
  • Working collaboratively with partners and suppliers to ensure the efficient running of the estate
  • Managing the development's gardens and grounds to provide a safe and secure environment for residents
  • Facilitating social interaction and helping residents to enjoy retirement living to the full
  • Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Extensive experience in a customer service-oriented role
  • A professional approach with high-quality standards
  • Ability to thrive in a busy and varied role
  • Resilience and effective problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of basic health and safety principles
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Previous or current work-based first aid qualifications an advantage
