Lead Nursing Team with Expertise in Critical Care
The Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Ward Manager to join our team at Highfield House care home in Purley, Croydon. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of nursing services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing staff and manage patient admissions and discharges
- Implement care plans and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families
- Coordinate rotas and lead by example in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Nursing Management, Critical Care Medicine, and Patient Care skills
- Experience in nursing and medicine, with a focus on A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, Respiratory, or Complex Care settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Leadership experience, ideally with at least 2 years, including responsibilities such as coordinating rotas
- Experience with Ventilator and Tracheostomy Care
