Salary: £52,500 per annum

Job Description:

Compass Associates is seeking an experienced Ward Manager to join our team at one of our specialist care centres in Purley, South London. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical and operational leadership of the nursing and support team across a ward for patients requiring either ventilator or tracheotomy care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Manage and develop the nursing team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, Respiratory, or Complex Care settings
  • Leadership experience, ideally with at least 2 years, including responsibilities such as coordinating rotas
  • Experience with Ventilator and Tracheostomy Care
