Chief Nurse Leader

The Matron role at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust works in collaboration with Heads of Nursing and Operational Managers to provide clinical and operational leadership to the respective clinical area.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to lead our team and drive excellence in patient care and experience.
As a Matron, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing change, and developing staff through mentorship, coaching, and supervision.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and experience, and build strong staff engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading staff in a compassionate and collective way, empowering them to develop and lead within their areas of responsibility.
You will also have experience in undertaking audits, Serious Untoward incidents, and change management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and prioritize your own work.
Able to facilitate and support learning, effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Salary: £83,000 - £99,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
